Towards Skyrmion Stars: Large Baryon Number Configurations in the Einstein-Skyrme Model [PDF]

open access: yes, 2005
The large baryon number sector of the Einstein-Skyrme model has been investigated, as a possible model for baryon stars. Self-gravitating hedgehog skyrmions have been studied previously and the existence of stable sol і tonic stars excluded due to energy

Electrical detection of mobile skyrmions with 100% tunneling magnetoresistance in a racetrack-like device

open access: yesnpj Quantum Materials
Magnetic skyrmions are topological spin textures that are regarded as promising information carriers for next-generation spintronic memory and computing devices.

Emergent Chaos‐Like Dynamics of Spin–Orbit‐Torque‐Driven Magnetic Transitions

open access: yesSmall, EarlyView.
By combining anisotropy‐engineered nanometer‐scale nucleation sites with time‐resolved x‐ray holography and micromagnetic modeling, magnetization dynamics are directly imaged, revealing chaos‐like fluctuations and skyrmion shedding and highlighting the intrinsic complexity of spin‐orbit torque driven systems.

Multi-skyrmion solutions of a sixth order skyrme model [PDF]

open access: yes, 2001
In this Thesis, we study some of the classical properties of an extension of the Skyrme model defined by adding a sixth order derivative term to the Lagrangian.

2D Magnetic and Topological Quantum Materials and Devices for Ultralow Power Spintronics

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, Volume 36, Issue 44, 1 June 2026.
2D magnets and topological quantum materials enable ultralow‐power spintronics by combining robust magnetic order with symmetry‐protected, Berry‐curvature‐driven transport. Fundamentals of 2D anisotropy and spin‐orbit‐coupling induced band inversion are linked to scalable growth and vdW stacking.

Decoding THz‐Driven Dynamic Fingerprints of Ferroelectric Nanotwin Networks

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, Volume 38, Issue 32, 8 June 2026.
ABSTRACT Ultrafast polarization dynamics in ferroelectrics are of considerable interest for high‐speed tunable dielectrics and electro‐optics. Extended domain wall networks formed in ferroelectric twin nanodomains can support collective dynamics in the terahertz regime but require techniques that track polarization and strain evolution driven by ...

Chains of solitons [PDF]

open access: yes, 2008
We construct and analyse chains of solitons in various field theories. Particular emphasis is placed on the constituent structure, which appears to be be a generic feature of chains.

Evolution and Conceptual Insights into the Geometric Phase of Light: A Comprehensive Review

open access: yesAdvanced Photonics Research, Volume 7, Issue 6, June 2026.
This review presents a unified account of the geometric phase of light, linking its fundamental principles to diverse manifestations in polarization, spatial, and vector modes. By connecting theoretical frameworks with key experimental realizations, it reveals a coherent physical picture that deepens understanding and stimulates new directions in ...

Domain wall Skyrmions

open access: yes, 2014
Skyrmions of different dimensions are related by domain walls. We obtain explicit full numerical solutions of various Skyrmion configurations trapped inside a domain wall.
