Polymorph‐Specific Electronic Transduction in WO3 during Molecular Sensing
Metal‐oxide polymorphs with similar surface chemistry can nevertheless exhibit distinct sensing properties. In γ‐ and ε‐WO3, analyte adsorption appears comparable; yet, only ε‐WO3 induces a pronounced lattice electronic perturbation that accommodates charge in sub‐conduction band minimum states.

Subducting-slab transition-zone interaction: Stagnation, penetration and mode switches
Seismic tomography shows that subducting slabs can either sink straight into the lower mantle, or lie down in the mantle transition zone. Moreover, some slabs seem to have changed mode from stagnation to penetration or vice versa.

Electrochemical CO2RR is a key technology for converting CO2 into chemicals, but there remains a gap between “laboratory science” and “engineering practice” in current research. This review establishes a multi‐scale research framework, encompassing atomic‐level characterization, microenvironment regulation, external field‐assisted optimization, and AI ...

Acoustic response of a rigid frame porous medium slab with a periodic set of inclusions
The acoustic response of a rigid frame porous slab with a periodic set of inclusions is calculated by use of a multipole method. The acoustic properties, in particular the absorption, of such a structure are then derived and studied.

Gapless Superconductivity From Extremely Dilute Magnetic Disorder in 2H‐NbSe2‐xSx
We demonstrate that 2H‐NbSe2‐xSx hosts gapless superconductivity at unexpectedly low magnetic impurity concentrations. Combining STM, Bogoliubovde Gennes simulations, DFT, and quasiparticle interference, we comprehensively study the development of gapless behavior and show that SeS substitution reshapes the band structure, enhances nesting, and drives ...

ABSTRACT The optoelectronic performance of organic light‐emitting diodes (OLEDs) is critically governed by charge injection from electrodes into organic layers, where significant energy barriers at the interfaces often impede efficient charge injection.

Chirality Transfer via Orientational Order of Micellar Assemblies on Gold Nanocrystals
A mechanism for chiral growth of Au nanocrystals mediated by orientational order of chiral micelles at seed surfaces is demonstrated. 3D electron microscopy and molecular dynamics simulations reveal how alignment of the micelles along crystal directions and torsion–orientation coupling govern chirality transfer, providing a framework to rationalize ...

Suppressing Metal–Molecule Charge Transfer With a Phosphorus Interlayer
Phosphorus forms stable reconstructions with remarkable properties on various metal substrates. Here, using a spectroscopic approach, its role as an effective buffer layer on Cu(110) is demonstrated, preventing charge transfer to adsorbed Zn‐tetraphenylporphyrins (ZnTPP).

Essence of the Late Mesozoic ore-magmatic systems of Aldan Shield
The original cause of the Late Mesozoic tectonic-magmatic and mineragenic activation at the Pre-Cambrian Aldan Shield was the existence of the stagnated oceanic slab in the mantle transitional zone.
