On T-Slant, N-Slant and B-Slant Helices in Galilean Space ?3 [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Dynamical Systems and Geometric Theories, 2018
In this paper, we define T-slant, N-slant and B-slant helices in Galilean space 3. In particular, we obtain the explicit parameter equations of the T-slant helices and prove that an admissible curve is a T-slant helix with a non-isotropic axis if and ...

On the Quaternionic B 2-Slant Helices in the Euclidean Space E 4 [PDF]

open access: yesAdvances in Applied Clifford Algebras, 2011
In this paper we give a new definition of harmonic curvature functions in terms of B-2 and we define a new kind of slant helix which we call quaternionic B-2-slant helix in 4-dimensional Euclidean space E-4 by using the new harmonic curvature functions ...

A Note on Fermi Walker Derivative With Constant Energy for Tangent Indicatrix of Slant Helix in the Lie Groups

Journal of Advanced Physics, 2018
In this manuscript, we present concept of new energy with Fermi-Walker (FW) derivative of tangent spherical image by using FW parallelism in Lie goups. By way of innovative illustration, we obtain FW parallelism condition for some vector fields. Furthermore, we obtain new characterization by some equations.

Slant helix of order n and sequence of Darboux developables of principal‐directional curves

Mathematical Methods in the Applied Sciences, 2020
In this paper, we consider the sequence of the principal‐directional curves of a curve γ and define the slant helix of order n (n‐SLH) of the curve in Euclidean 3‐space. The notion is an extension of the notion of slant helix. We present an important formula that determines if the nth principal‐directional curve of γ can be the slant helix of order n (

Slant Helix Curves and Acceleration Centers in Minkowski 3-Space Ε31

Journal of Advanced Physics, 2017
In this study, some basic concepts (e.g., instant screw axis (ISA), instantaneous pole points, acceleration pole points) will be given and analyzed about an alternative one-parameter motion of a rigid-body in 3-dimensional Minkowski space Ε31 obtained by moving coordinate frame {N, C, W} along a non-null unit speed curve α = α(t), where N, C and W ...

On Curves ofNk–Slant Helix andNk–Constant Precession in Minkowski 3–Space

Journal of Dynamical Systems and Geometric Theories, 2014
AbstractIn this paper, firstly N k -timelike (spacelike) slant helix in 3- dimensional Minkowski space is given by using an alternative coordinate frame which is obtained with the help of principal direction curves to Frenet frame {T, N, B}. Secondly, the axis of slant helix according to different conditions of curves is obtained. Lastly, curves of Nk -

Tangent Bishop spherical images of a biharmonic B-slant helix in the Heisenberg group Heis3

2011
In this paper, biharmonic slant helices are studied according to Bishop frame in the Heisenberg group Heis3. We give necessary and sufficient conditions for slant helices to be biharmonic. The biharmonic slant helices arecharacterized in terms of Bishop frame in the Heisenberg group Heis3.

Slant Helix Curves and Acceleration Centers

2014
In this study, an alternative one-parameter motion to Frenet motion of a rigid-body in 3-dimensional Euclidean space E-3 is given by moving the coordinate frame {N,C,W} instead of the Frenet frame {T,N,B} along a unit speed curve alpha(t), where N,C and W correspond, respectively, to unit principal normal vector field, derivative vector field of the ...
