ABSTRACT Nowadays, a substantial portion of investigations concerning the symmetry analysis of differential equations predominantly adhere to a framework comprising the following key procedures: (i) the derivation of symmetries, (ii) the determination of an optimal system, (iii) the utilization of these symmetries to construct invariants or ...

A 4D geometric morphometrics workflow to quantify complex biological motion
Abstract Quantifying biological motion is fundamentally tied to quantifying the biological structures that produce that motion. Yet, this dependence makes it essential to decouple motion from static morphology to enable general, comparable analyses across individuals and conditions. In this work, we present a methodological pipeline to study biological

SDFs from Unoriented Point Clouds using Neural Variational Heat Distances
We propose a novel variational approach for computing neural Signed Distance Fields (SDF) from unoriented point clouds. We first compute a small time step of heat flow (middle) and then use its gradient directions to solve for a neural SDF (right). Abstract We propose a novel variational approach for computing neural Signed Distance Fields (SDF) from ...

Slant Riemannian maps from an almost contact manifold
Summary: In the present paper, we introduce slant Riemannian maps from an almost contact manifold to Riemannian manifolds. We obtain the existence condition of slant Riemannian maps from an almost contact manifold to Riemannian manifolds. Moreover, we find the necessary and sufficient condition for slant Riemannian map to be totally geodesic and ...

EvolvED: Evolutionary Embeddings to Understand the Generation Process of Diffusion Models
EvolvED visualises how diffusion models generate images by embedding intermediate outputs to preserve semantics and evolutionary structure. It supports analysis via (a) user‐defined goals and prompts, (b) sampling intermediate images, (c) extracting relevant features, and (d) visualising them in structured radial and rectilinear layouts for ...

Survey on differential estimators for 3d point clouds
Abstract Recent advancements in 3D scanning technologies, including LiDAR and photogrammetry, have enabled the precise digital replication of real‐world objects. These methods are widely used in fields such as GIS, robotics, and cultural heritage. However, the point clouds generated by such scans are often noisy and unstructured, posing challenges for ...

Non‐Rigid 3D Shape Correspondences: From Foundations to Open Challenges and Opportunities
Abstract Estimating correspondences between deformed shape instances is a long‐standing problem in computer graphics; numerous applications, from texture transfer to statistical modelling, rely on recovering an accurate correspondence map. Many methods have thus been proposed to tackle this challenging problem from varying perspectives, depending on ...

Establishing Shape Correspondences: A Survey
Abstract Shape correspondence between surfaces in 3D is a central problem in geometry processing, concerned with establishing meaningful relations between surfaces. While all correspondence problems share this goal, specific formulations can differ significantly: Downstream applications require certain properties that correspondences must satisfy ...

Conformal bi-slant Riemannian maps
In this study, conformal bi-slant Riemannian maps from an almost Hermitian manifold to a Riemannian manifold are defined. Integrability conditions of certain distributions on total manifolds are examined. Also, we studied that under which conditions, the distributions can define a totally geodesic foliation.

Conformal semi-slant Riemannian maps from almost Hermitian manifolds onto Riemannian manifolds
In this study, we define the notion of conformal semi-slant Riemannian maps from almost Hermitian manifolds onto Riemannian manifolds as a generalization of conformal semi-slant submersions. We give examples for this type maps. We study integrability conditions of distributions.
