Induced structures on slant submanifolds of metric F-manifolds [PDF]

open access: yes, 2008
We study whether it is possible to obtain an induced structure on a slant submanifold of a metric f-manifold. Moreover, we give conditions for any isometric immersion between two metric fmanifolds to be slant and we prove a characterization theorem when ...

Survey on differential estimators for 3d point clouds

open access: yesComputer Graphics Forum, EarlyView.
Abstract Recent advancements in 3D scanning technologies, including LiDAR and photogrammetry, have enabled the precise digital replication of real‐world objects. These methods are widely used in fields such as GIS, robotics, and cultural heritage. However, the point clouds generated by such scans are often noisy and unstructured, posing challenges for ...

Coulomb branch algebras via symplectic cohomology

open access: yesJournal of Topology, Volume 19, Issue 2, June 2026.
Abstract Let (M¯,ω)$(\bar{M}, \omega)$ be a compact symplectic manifold with convex boundary and c1(TM¯)=0$c_1(T\bar{M})=0$. Suppose that (M¯,ω)$(\bar{M}, \omega)$ is equipped with a convex Hamiltonian G$G$‐action for some connected, compact Lie group G$G$.

The de Rham Cohomology Classes of Hemi-Slant Submanifolds in Locally Product Riemannian Manifolds

open access: yesMathematics
This paper aims to discuss the de Rham cohomology of hemi-slant submanifolds in locally product Riemannian manifolds. The integrability and geodesical invariance conditions of the distributions derived from the definition of a hemi-slant submanifold are ...

Pointwise quasi hemi-slant submanifolds

open access: yesFilomat, 2022
The objective of this paper is to introduce a new class of submanifolds which are called pointwise quasi hemi-slant submanifolds in almost Hermitian manifolds which extends quasi hemi-slant, hemi-slant, semi-slant and slant submanifolds in a very natural way. Several basic results in this respect are proved in this paper.

Infinity‐operadic foundations for embedding calculus

open access: yesJournal of Topology, Volume 19, Issue 2, June 2026.
Abstract Motivated by applications to spaces of embeddings and automorphisms of manifolds, we consider a tower of ∞$\infty$‐categories of truncated right modules over a unital ∞$\infty$‐operad O$\mathcal {O}$. We study monoidality and naturality properties of this tower, identify its layers, describe the difference between the towers as O$\mathcal {O}$

Shape Derivatives of the Eigenvalues of the De Rham Complex for Lipschitz Deformations and Variable Coefficients: Part I

open access: yesMathematical Methods in the Applied Sciences, Volume 49, Issue 8, Page 7975-8005, 30 May 2026.
ABSTRACT We study eigenvalue problems for the de Rham complex on varying three‐dimensional domains. Our analysis includes the Helmholtz equation as well as the Maxwell system with mixed boundary conditions and non‐constant coefficients. We provide Hadamard‐type formulas for the shape derivatives under weak regularity assumptions on the domain and its ...

Generalized inequalities on warped product submanifolds in nearly trans-Sasakian manifolds

open access: yes, 2014
In this paper, we study warped product submanifolds of nearly trans-Sasakian manifolds. The non-existence of the warped product semi-slant submanifolds of the type $N_\theta\times{_{f}N_T}$ is shown, whereas some characterization and new geometric ...

Degree theory for 4‐dimensional asymptotically conical gradient expanding solitons

open access: yesCommunications on Pure and Applied Mathematics, Volume 79, Issue 5, Page 1151-1298, May 2026.
Abstract We develop a new degree theory for 4‐dimensional, asymptotically conical gradient expanding solitons. Our theory implies the existence of gradient expanding solitons that are asymptotic to any given cone over S3$S^3$ with non‐negative scalar curvature. We also obtain a similar existence result for cones whose link is diffeomorphic to S3/Γ$S^3/\

On Lagrangian submersions

open access: yes, 2014
In this paper, we study Riemannian, anti-invariant Riemannian and Lagrangian submersions. We prove that the horizontal distribution of a Lagrangian submersion from a Kaehlerian manifold is integrable.
