The Location-Scale Mixture Exponential Power Distribution: A Bayesian and Maximum Likelihood Approach

We introduce an alternative skew-slash distribution by using the scale mixture of the exponential power distribution. We derive the properties of this distribution and estimate its parameter by Maximum Likelihood and Bayesian methods.

A Se‐mediated Co dual‐atom catalyst replaces sluggish oxygen evolution with efficient iodide oxidation in zinc‐air/iodide hybrid batteries. Se‐induced d‐p orbital hybridization optimizes adsorption, enabling a low 0.365 V voltage gap and superior durability, fundamentally overcoming conventional kinetic bottlenecks.

Synthesis and Structure of an S‐Shaped Double Expanded Helicene With Seven Fused Anthracene Units

The anthracene‐fused aromatic compound was synthesized by four‐fold cycloisomerization of the corresponding alkyne precursor. X‐ray crystallographic analysis revealed that this compound had a double helical structure of Ci symmetry, in which the terminal and central anthracene units were triply stacked.
