A Sedation Protocol for Endoscopic Baton‐Plate Adjustment in Neonates With Pierre Robin Sequence
ABSTRACT Background Robin sequence (RS) is characterized by upper airway obstruction leading to life‐threatening desaturations in neonates. Procedural sedation in this population presents unique challenges due to anatomical airway anomalies, young patient age, and associated comorbidities.

When Fat Goes Astray: Your Liver and Pancreas Get Into Trouble
Metabolic dysfunction‐associated steatotic liver disease (MASLD) and intrapancreatic fat deposition (IPFD) are both common manifestations of ectopic fat accumulation. Although they share multiple risk factors, they also show notable differences in pathological features, standardization of diagnosis, and research maturity.

Update on the Pathophysiology, Aetiology and Management of Central Sleep Apnoea
ABSTRACT Central sleep apnoea (CSA) of the periodic breathing type occurs during the transition between wakefulness and stage 1 and 2 non‐REM sleep. In adults at sea level, it occurs most commonly due to advanced heart failure (HF) or chronic opioid use and in ~5% of obstructive sleep apnoea patients initiating CPAP.

Glaucoma is increasingly understood as a neurodegenerative disorder shaped by sleep and circadian physiology, not intraocular pressure alone. Sleep loss and obstructive sleep apnea suppress BDNF–TrkB neurotrophic signaling, impair sleep‐dependent glymphatic clearance, and trigger microglial neuroinflammation and vascular insult at the optic nerve head,

Abstract Polysomnography (PSG), the reference standard for sleep assessment, has limited scalability for large‐scale screening, driving the development of wearable and unobtrusive monitors. However, the physiological signals these devices capture are physiologically correlated with PSG channels but are not completely equivalent.
