Stability analysis of large slenderness ratio horizontal hydraulic cylinder [PDF]
An improved two sections pressure bar method (ITSPBM) was presented to analyze the stability of the large slenderness ratio horizontal hydraulic cylinder. The friction moments, the bearing reactions at the two hinge joints as well as the clearances between the piston and the inner wall of the cylinder were taken into consideration.

ABSTRACT Objective Super‐Refractory Status Epilepticus (SRSE) is a rare, life‐threatening neurological emergency with unclear etiology in many cases. Mitochondrial dysfunction, often due to disease‐causing genetic variants, is increasingly recognized as a cause, with each gene producing distinct pathophysiological mechanisms.

Assessing statistical reasoning in descriptive statistics: a qualitative meta-analysis [PDF]
To date, there are abundant studies on statistical reasoning in descriptive statistics and inferential statistics. Nevertheless, the types of statistical reasoning assessments used in those studies are different from each other.

Whole‐Body Pattern of Muscle Degeneration and Progression in Sarcoglycanopathies
ABSTRACT Objective To characterize whole‐body intramuscular fat distribution pattern in patients with sarcoglycanopathies and explore correlations with disease severity, duration and age at onset. Methods Retrospective, cross‐sectional, multicentric study enrolling patients with variants in one of the four sarcoglycan genes who underwent whole‐body ...

Research on Reinforcement Technology of Grid Bars with Oversized Slenderness Ratio
Abstract The stiffness of axially loaded members is usually measured by slenderness ratio, which is the ratio of the calculated length of the member to the minimum turning radius of the member section. If the slenderness ratio is too large, the component is easy to produce bending deformation in the process of use.

Multidimensional Profiling of MRI‐Negative Temporal Lobe Epilepsy Uncovers Distinct Phenotypes
ABSTRACT Objective Although hippocampal sclerosis (TLE‐HS) represents the most frequent cause of temporal lobe epilepsy (TLE), up to 30% of patients show no lesion on visual MRI inspection (TLE‐MRIneg). These cases pose diagnostic and therapeutic challenges and are underrepresented in surgical series.

Experimental verification of an Oseen flow slender body theory [PDF]
Consider uniform flow past four slender bodies with elliptical cross-section of constant ellipticity along the length of 0, 0.125, 0.25 and 0.375, respectively, for each body.
