Comparative Effectiveness and Safety of Inebilizumab Versus Rituximab in AQP4‐IgG‐Positive NMOSD

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Objective Rituximab (anti‐CD20, RTX) and inebilizumab (anti‐CD19, INE) represent B‐cell‐depleting therapies used for aquaporin‐4 antibody‐positive (AQP4‐IgG+) neuromyelitis optica spectrum disorder (NMOSD); however, direct comparative evidence remains limited.

A Monte-Carlo error analysis for basal sliding velocity calculations [PDF]

open access: yes, 2006
Since glacier beds are mostly inaccessible, numerical inversion of the surface velocity field provides a valuable method for calculating the basal shear stress and sliding velocity. However, previous theoretical studies (limited either to planar slabs or

Sliding Window Iterative Identification of Systems With Asymmetric Preload Nonlinearity Based on the Key Term Separation

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2019
The parameter estimation problem for the Hammerstein systems with asymmetric preload nonlinearity is considered in this paper. The nonlinearity is described by the piecewise function, which brings difficulty to the identification.

Deep Learning Pose Estimation for Phenotyping of Co‐Occurring Hyperkinetic Movement Disorders

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Objective To explore whether routine outpatient video combined with deep learning‐based pose estimation and clinically interpretable kinematic features can support multi‐label phenotyping of co‐occurring hyperkinetic movement disorders (HMDs).

On the clustering behavior of sliding windows

open access: yesCoRR
Things can go spectacularly wrong when clustering timeseries data that has been preprocessed with a sliding window. We highlight three surprising failures that emerge depending on how the window size compares with the timeseries length. In addition to computational examples, we present theoretical explanations for each of these failure modes.

Beyond Visual Scoring: Computational Computed Tomography Analysis for High‐Resolution Computed Tomography–Based Quantification of Interstitial Lung Disease in Inflammatory Rheumatic Disease

open access: yesArthritis Care &Research, EarlyView.
Interstitial lung disease (ILD) is a significant cause of morbidity and mortality in patients with inflammatory rheumatic disorders (IRDs). High‐resolution computed tomography (HRCT) is widely considered the gold standard for the noninvasive assessment of ILD; however, its interpretation is constrained by substantial interobserver variability and the ...
