Two slits good, three slits great

Physics World, 2010
I feel that your Frontiers article "Quantum theory holds strong" (September p4) may have been somewhat misleading in its description of the results of a three-slit interference experiment.

Incisional Slit Grafting

The Journal of Dermatologic Surgery and Oncology, 1991
Incisional slit grafting, a new and greatly improved technique in hair transplantation, is described. Incisional slit grafting utilizes larger numbers of smaller grafts than does traditional punch grafting. No tissue is removed from the recipient bed. The vascular supply is conserved, resulting in an increased graft yield.

Slit lamp ophthalmodynamometry

Documenta Ophthalmologica, 1977
A short clinical trial of the 'Dynoptor' Slit Lamp Ophthalmodynamometer has shown it to be a practical instrument. A mean O.A.P. of 52.3 mm/hg has been recorded.

The Slit Canaliculus

Ophthalmic Surgery, Lasers and Imaging Retina, 1982
SUMMARY Canalicular stent tubes were inserted in patients at canaliculo-dacryocystorhinostomy, dacryocystorhinostomy with a common internal punctum membrane, or at dacryocystorhinostomy with small mucosal anastomosis. Canalicular slits occurred in 16% of cases, more often with polyethylene than with silicone, and more often with increased ...

Movement through slits: Cellular migration via the Slit family

BioEssays, 2002
AbstractFirst isolated in the fly and now characterised in vertebrates, the Slit proteins have emerged as pivotal components controlling the guidance of axonal growth cones and the directional migration of neuronal precursors. As well as extensive expression during development of the central nervous system (CNS), the Slit proteins exhibit a striking ...

Slit-Lamp Gonioscopy.

Archives of Ophthalmology, 1962
Gonioscopy has grown to occupy a prominent position in ophthalmology as an essential method in the diagnosis and treatment of disorders of the anterior segment of the eye. The second edition of Slit-Lamp Gonioscopy deals comprehensively with the anatomy of the chamber angle, the history and technique of gonioscopy, and the interpretation of findings in

Phase shifting grating-slit test with a cross slit

Optics Letters, 2010
A general graphical convolution method for fringe analysis of testing methods that use a spatially incoherent light source is presented. Results are shown for the grating-slit test using optical narrow and cross slits. The convolution method shows that phase shifting grating-slit test can be done with the cross slit at the expense of a reduced fringe ...

Double Slit to Non-parallel Double Slit to Curved Double Slit

Young’s double slit experiment was called as "a phenomenon […] has in it the heart of quantum mechanics. In reality, it contains the only mystery. We cannot make the mystery go away by ‘explaining’ how it works". To study the mystery, we perform the non-crossing-slit-experiments and crossing-slit experiments and show phenomena: (1) in the same ...
