Influence of Poly(Diketopyrrolopyrrole) Chain Length and Chemical Structure on Photocatalytic Hydrogen Evolution in Composites With TiO2

open access: yesJournal of Polymer Science, EarlyView.
Two different poly(diketopyrrolopyrroles) are synthesized via the Suzuki–Miyaura copolymerisation and characterized thoroughly. Composite materials with anatase TiO2 are formed with different polymer‐TiO2 ratios. The composite materials are tested in photocatalytic hydrogen evolution, in which an eight‐time increase of the hydrogen evolution is ...

Solution‐Like Water Transport Across Molecular to Macroscopic Length Scales in Crosslinked Poly(Ethylene Glycol Diacrylate) Networks With Tailored Sidechains

open access: yesJournal of Polymer Science, EarlyView.
Cross‐linked PEGDA network microparticles are synthesized with spin labels to sense local water motion. From the nanoscale to the macroscale, PEGDA exhibits rapid, solution‐like water transport as measured by spectroscopic techniques. Addition of side chain chemistries further modulates local water diffusion.

Structural and Transport Properties of Thick and Thin Cr2AlC Films

open access: yesphysica status solidi (RRL) – Rapid Research Letters, EarlyView.
This study compares structural and transport properties of Cr2AlC thin films (50 and 500 nm) systematically disordered by ion irradiation. Columnar grain growth is observed only in 500 nm films, while both films exhibit a weak fiber texture. Kondo scattering from displaced Cr atoms leads to a resistivity upturn, with distinct magnetoresistance in each ...

Interfacial Chemistry of Cu(In,Ga)S2 on GaP/Si: Insights for Tandem Solar Cell Design

open access: yesphysica status solidi (RRL) – Rapid Research Letters, EarlyView.
This article exposes an in‐depth analysis of the chemical interaction between Cu(In,Ga)S2 thin‐film and GaP/Si(001) pseudo‐substrate, in the framework of the development of high‐efficiency tandem solar cells on Si. A rich Cu‐Ga‐P‐S chemistry at the Cu(In,Ga)S2/GaP interface is uncovered, in the case of Cu(In,Ga)S2 films grown in Cu‐excess conditions ...
