Impact of Respiratory Support Strategies on CO2 Variability During Therapeutic Hypothermia in Neonates With Asphyxia: Data From the German Hypothermia Registry

open access: yesActa Paediatrica, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Aim To evaluate associations between respiratory support strategies, partial pressure of carbon dioxide (pCO2) variability and oxygen exposure in neonates with hypoxic–ischaemic encephalopathy (HIE) undergoing therapeutic hypothermia (TH). Methods This retrospective multicentre study used data from the German Hypothermia Registry, including ...

Survival outcomes and treatment patterns in myelofibrosis in the JAK inhibitor era

open access: yesBritish Journal of Haematology, EarlyView.
Summary Data on real‐world survival and treatment patterns in large, unselected myelofibrosis (MF) cohorts remain limited. We analysed 1649 patients with MF diagnosed from 2010 onwards and included in the Spanish Myelofibrosis Registry across 64 centres. Janus kinase (JAK) inhibitors were administered to approximately half of the patients.

Topology‐based Visual Analysis of Hydrothermal Plumes

open access: yesComputer Graphics Forum, EarlyView.
Abstract Hydrothermal plumes are turbulent structures of intense heat and mineral smoke that rise and disperse into the deep ocean. Existing models generally characterize these systems as a single axisymmetric plume originating from a point source. However, this assumption breaks down in weakly venting, spatially distributed systems, where low‐flux ...

Effect of Implant Design on Fracture Resistance, Mode, and Crystal Structure of One‐ and Two‐Piece Zirconia Implants With Ceramic or Titanium Abutment Screws: An In Vitro Study

open access: yesClinical Oral Implants Research, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Objectives To evaluate the fracture resistance, fracture modes, and crystalline phase changes of zirconia one‐piece implants (OPI) and bone‐level (BLTPI) or tissue‐level, two‐piece implants (TLTPI), with ceramic (C) or titanium (T) abutment screws after dynamic preloading in a moist environment.
