An Adaptive Slope Compensation Circuit and Its Application
2012To solve the over-compensation problem in the current mode PWM switch power, a new adaptive slope compensation circuit is proposed in this paper. In the circuit, the difference between the output and input voltage is positively correlated with the duty cycle of switch signal, which is used to generate the control signal varying with the duty ratio. The

LED driver IC with an adaptive slope compensation technique
The 2010 International Conference on Green Circuits and Systems, 2010In this paper, an adaptive slope compensation circuit is proposed that can be applied for the current-controlled DC-DC converter. In order to maintain stability, the negative-slope compensation should be used for this converter with duty ratio higher than 0.5. Fixed value of this slope results in the limited operating range. The proposed adaptive slope

Corrections to "Sampled fiber grating based-dispersion slope compensator"
IEEE Photonics Technology Letters, 2000In the above-named letter [ibid., vol. 11, pp. 1280?1282, Oct. 1999] the dispersion slopes of some of the optical fibers were inaccurately cited in Fig. 1 and Table I. The actual values are revised and shown here in a corrected Figure 1 and Table I.

Spectral control of solitons under periodical dispersion-slope compensation
Nonlinear Guided Waves and Their Applications, 2002Effects of guiding filters on solitons in fiber links with periodical dispersion-slope compensation are numerically studied with regard to lOOGbit/s transmission. It is predicted that slope compensating links require narrower filter bandwidth and higher transmission power than do slope-free fiber links.

Polarimetric SAR data compensation for terrain azimuth slope variation
IEEE Transactions on Geoscience and Remote Sensing, 2000This paper addresses the problem of polarimetric SAR (POLSAR) data correction for changes in radar cross sections, which are caused by azimuth slopes. Most radiometric slope corrections remove slope effects to account for the effective scattering pixel area.

A Slope Compensated Current Mode Controlled Boost Converter
2012This paper discusses the design and simulation of Slope compensated Current mode Controlled Boost converter. A boost converter steps up a source voltage to a higher, regulated voltage. The current mode control strategy is discussed in this paper wherein the peak inductor current is sensed and used to control the duty ratio of the switches such that the

Research on dispersion-compensating fibre with negative dispersion slope
Czechoslovak Journal of Physics, 1999Theory of three-cladding dispersion-compensating fibre (DCF) with negative dispersion slope is analyzed, suggestions of adjusting various parameters in DCF are given, and a novel overclad technology is proposed. At the same time spinning when drawing was applied to lower polarization mode dispersion in DCF, and finally modified chemical vapour ...

Design of a microstructure fibre for slope-matched dispersion compensation
Journal of Optics A: Pure and Applied Optics, 2007A microstructure fibre structure based on pure silica is proposed for broadband dispersion compensation. The influence of the three air-hole parameters and the lattice period of triangular cladding upon the dispersion curve is investigated. The dispersion of the standard single-mode fibre, which is 98 times the length of the microstructure fibre, can ...

Tunable pure dispersion slope compensators realized with novel complex gratings
Bragg Gratings, Photosensitivity, and Poling in Glass Waveguides, 2007We present a novel tunable dispersion compensator that can provide pure slope compensation. In experiments, we achieve dispersion slope tuning range of +/-650ps/nm2with >0.9nm usable bandwidth.
