Simulation analysis of stability of slope with fault under seepage action

open access: yesMeikuang Anquan, 2021
In order to study the stability of slope with fault under the action of seepage, the end slope of the third mining area in Yimin Open-pit Mine was taken as the research object, and the similar material model was established and combined with numerical ...

SLOPE STABILITY ANALYSIS FOR EARTH DAMS USING (GEO-SLOPE/W)

open access: yesDiyala Journal of Engineering Sciences, 2018
The study of slope stability is important in the design and construction of the earth dams under influence of special states. Some factors affect on the slope stability for the earth dams such as change the water level in the reservoir, dam ...

Spatiotemporal Dynamics and Anomaly Detection of Land Subsidence in Delta Areas: A Case Study From the Po River Delta Using InSAR Time Series

open access: yesIEEE Journal of Selected Topics in Applied Earth Observations and Remote Sensing
Deltas are particularly susceptible to extensive land subsidence and consequently face heightened flood risks. Interferometric synthetic aperture radar (InSAR) techniques allow for multidecadal detection of land surface displacements with high accuracy ...

Post-blast slope stability monitoring with slope stability radar [PDF]

open access: yesProceedings of the 2020 International Symposium on Slope Stability in Open Pit Mining and Civil Engineering, 2020
It is generally understood that the quality of a rock mass in an open pit mine may be subject to progressive deterioration over time as a direct result of vibration, due to successive blasting and other mining activity.  This paper defines a process for quantifying this damage using historic slope stability radar (SSR) data using assumptions based ...

Evaluation of Xiashu loess slope stability in Zhenjiang area using different methods

open access: yesZhongguo dizhi zaihai yu fangzhi xuebao, 2021
Slope instability is the result of the continuous evolution of the interaction of geological environment conditions in a certain area, so many factors should be considered when evaluating the stability of a slope. In this paper, the influence factors and

3D stability analysis method of concave slope based on the Bishop method

open access: yesInternational Journal of Mining Science and Technology, 2017
In order to study the stability control mechanism of a concave slope with circular landslide, and remove the influence of differences in shape on slope stability, the limit analysis method of a simplified Bishop method was employed.

Reciprocal control of viral infection and phosphoinositide dynamics

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Phosphoinositides, although scarce, regulate key cellular processes, including membrane dynamics and signaling. Viruses exploit these lipids to support their entry, replication, assembly, and egress. The central role of phosphoinositides in infection highlights phosphoinositide metabolism as a promising antiviral target.
