Challenges in Assessing the Level of Plant-Based Food Self-Sufficiency Using Publicly Available Data in the Regional Context of Slovenia

open access: yesEuropean Countryside, 2022
Methods for assessing regional food self-sufficiency are poorly developed worldwide, while knowledge of the characteristics of regional food self-sufficiency could help in designing more sustainable and resilient regional food systems.

Counting Hamiltonian cycles in 2-tiled graphs [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv, 2021
In 1930, Kuratowski showed that $K_{3,3}$ and $K_5$ are the only two minor-minimal non-planar graphs. Robertson and Seymour extended finiteness of the set of forbidden minors for any surface. \v{S}ir\'{a}\v{n} and Kochol showed that there are infinitely many $k$-crossing-critical graphs for any $k\ge 2$, even if restricted to simple $3$-connected ...

Double dispersion of the magnetic resonant mode in cuprates [PDF]

open access: yesPhysical Review B 73, 092516 (2006), 2005
The magnetic excitation spectra in the vicinity of the resonant peak, as observed by inelastic neutron scattering in cuprates, are studied within the memory-function approach. It is shown that at intermediate doping the superconducting gap induces a double dispersion of the peak, with an anisotropy rotated between the downward and upward branch ...

Ultrafast optical polarimetry in magnetic phases of Kondo semi metal CeSb [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv, 2023
We investigated photoinduced ultrafast transient dynamics in different magnetic phases in CeSb by means of the time resolved magneto-optical spectroscopy. We observe a distinctive coherent oscillations in the ground-state antiferromagnetic (AF) phase and the high-magnetic field ferromagnetic (F) phase.
