Pacing termination of ventricular tachycardia: Influence of antiarrhythmic-slowed ectopic rate

American Heart Journal, 1984
The success of pacing stimuli interruption of ventricular tachycardia (VT) was examined in 77 episodes of sustained VT induced in 31 patients undergoing programmed electrical stimulation studies. Once VT was induced, a trial to terminate the arrhythmia by means of the technique of entrainment was attempted.

[Slow ventricular tachycardia presenting in the antenatal period].

Archives des maladies du coeur et des vaisseaux, 2004
The authors report two cases of slow ventricular tachycardia presenting in the antenatal period. One foetus had anasarca at 38 weeks' gestation. After birth, improved myocardial function contributed to the rapid resorption of the effusions. The other case was well tolerated in the foetal and neonatal periods.

Prenatal diagnosis of slow‐rate ventricular tachycardia using fetal electrocardiography

Prenatal Diagnosis, 2004
AbstractObjectivesWe report a case in which fetal ventricular tachycardia (VT) could be diagnosed, in utero, using a transabdominal fetal electrocardiogram (fECG) with motion‐mode (M‐mode) echocardiography.MethodsThe fetus was referred at 32 weeks' gestation due to tricuspid atresia.

Conduction slowing area during sinus rhythm harbors ventricular tachycardia isthmus

Journal of Cardiovascular Electrophysiology, 2020
AbstractIntroductionThe voltage map during sinus rhythm (SR) is a cornerstone of substrate mapping (SM) in scar‐related ventricular tachycardia (VT) and frequently used with pace mapping (PM). Where to conduct PM is unclear in cases of an extensive or unidentified substrate.

Demonstration of Entrainment and Presence of Slow Conduction During Ventricular Tachycardia in Arrhythmogenic Right Ventricular Dysplasia

Pacing and Clinical Electrophysiology, 1994
During VT in two cases with arrhythmogenic right ventricular dysplasia, entrainment criteria, constant fusion beats except for the last entrainment beat, progressive fusion, and a localized conduction block associated with interruption of VT, were demon strated with rapid ventricular pacing performed during VT.

Slowing of Ventricular Tachycardia as a Possible Endpoint for Serial Drug Testing at Electrophysiological Study

Pacing and Clinical Electrophysiology, 1992
Certain patients who cannot be rendered noninducible by serial drug testing during electrophysiology study demonstrate significant slowing of their ventricular tachycardia rate with selected agents. We evaluated the characteristics and outcome of 19 such patients to assess whether this slowing could be considered an acceptable endpoint for treatment ...
