Advances in Solution‐Processed Textile Triboelectric Nanogenerators: Ink Formation, Processing Strategies, Applications, and Challenges

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Advanced ink systems for solution‐processed textile triboelectric nanogenerators are systematically summarized, spanning conductive, tribo‐negative, and tribo‐positive layers. By connecting ink chemistry, deposition methods, and device function, the present review reveals the key governing principles of solution development and highlights practical ...

Magnetohydrodynamic Wave Mode Conversion in a Pseudostreamer Structure

open access: yesThe Astrophysical Journal
The interaction of a fast magnetoacoustic wave with a magnetic null point in a pseudostreamer magnetic configuration is modeled. The incident fast wave is excited by an impulsive velocity driver located in the corona outside the Alfvén-acoustic ...

Autonomous Multi‐Objective Nanoscale Characterization of Combinatorial (Al, Sc, B)N Films Reveals Composition‐Dependent Ferroelectric Regimes

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Autonomous scanning probe microscopy and multi‐objective Bayesian optimization navigate a ternary (Al,Sc,B)N combinatorial library. Registered photoluminescence, electron‐probe compositional mapping, and X‐ray diffraction connect local electromechanical function to defect‐sensitive emission, composition, and crystal structure.

Rapid Microwave Plasma Engineering of HfO2/C@C Core‐Shell Fibrous Membrane Toward Flexible High‐Performance Electromagnetic Wave Absorption

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Rapid microwave plasma torch engineering tunes crystal phases, carbon graphitization and oxygen‐vacancy defects in HfO2/C@C core‐shell fibrous membranes. Synergistic multi‐loss effects optimize impedance matching to deliver −65.75 dB reflection loss and a 7.37 GHz effective bandwidth for flexible electromagnetic wave absorption.

Traveling Waves and Superposition Exercise Set 1

open access: yes, 2002
The top two panes display waves that are traveling simultaneously in the same medium (same string, spring, air column, etc). Note that the two waves are traveling at the same speed in opposite directions and that they have the same amplitude and ...

Nearly inviscid Faraday waves in containers with broken symmetry [PDF]

open access: yes, 2005
In the weakly inviscid regime parametrically driven surface gravity-capillary waves generate oscillatory viscous boundary layers along the container walls and the free surface.

Oligoethylene Glycol Side‐Chain Engineering of Y6‐Derived Nonfullerene Acceptors for Thermally Induced Spontaneous Pseudo‐Planar Heterojunction Organic Photodetectors

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
OEG‐functionalized Y6‐derived acceptors induce thermally driven vertical phase separation, enabling pseudo‐planar heterojunction organic photodetectors. The resulting PM6:YTEG‐4F and PM6:YTEG‐4Cl organic photodetectors suppress dark current density by approximately 260‐fold and 210‐fold, respectively, while maintaining efficient photoresponse ...

Of Slow Waves and Spike Patches

open access: yes, 2001
In the small intestines, the major task of the slow wave is to induce mechanical movements in the intestinal wall by generating local calcium spikes. High resolution electrical mapping reveals fundamental differences in propagation between slow waves ...

In Situ Magnetic Ordering and Microfabrication of Liquid Crystal Networks with Discretized Alignment

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Miniaturizing liquid crystal network actuators typically demands costly laser writing or digital light processing. A low‐cost photolithography platform couples rotating photomasks with a Halbach magnetic array to discretize in‐plane molecular alignment down to 50 µm, producing programmable, light‐responsive grippers, checkerboards, and origami‐inspired

Deciphering the Photopolymerization‐Induced Nanostructures and Interface Formation for Submicrometer Additive Manufacturing

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
This work reveals the UV‐curing‐induced monomer‐rich domain, oligomer‐rich domain, and entangled oligomer domain. The cured submicron films in stressed state induce interlayer nano‐wrinkle structures during the deposition of the second layer. Stress‐free cured films in relaxed state form non‐diffusive, diffusive and semi‐diffusive interlayer ...
