Sequence determinants of RNA G‐quadruplex unfolding by Arg‐rich regions
We show that Arg‐rich peptides selectively unfold RNA G‐quadruplexes, but not RNA stem‐loops or DNA/RNA duplexes. This length‐dependent activity is inhibited by acidic residues and is conserved among SR and SR‐related proteins (SRSF1, SRSF3, SRSF9, U1‐70K, and U2AF1).

Rotational velocities of low-mass stars in the Pleiades and Hyades [PDF]
We have obtained high-resolution spectra of 89 M dwarf members of the Pleiades and Hyades and have derived radial velocities, H-alpha equivalent widths, and spectroscopic rotational velocities for these stars.

We reconstituted Synechocystis glycogen synthesis in vitro from purified enzymes and showed that two GlgA isoenzymes produce glycogen with different architectures: GlgA1 yields denser, highly branched glycogen, whereas GlgA2 synthesizes longer, less‐branched chains.

Weighted $\beta\gamma$-summability of fuzzy functions of order $\theta$
The concept of weighted $\beta\gamma$ - summability of order $\theta$ in case of fuzzy functions is introduced and classified into ordinary and absolute sense. Several inclusion relations among the sets are investigated.

Intermittency of trawl processes [PDF]
We study the limiting behavior of continuous time trawl processes which are defined using an infinitely divisible random measure of a time dependent set. In this way one is able to define separately the marginal distribution and the dependence structure.

Structural biology of ferritin nanocages
Ferritin is a conserved iron‐storage protein that sequesters iron as a ferric mineral core within a nanocage, protecting cells from oxidative damage and maintaining iron homeostasis. This review discusses ferritin biology, structure, and function, and highlights recent cryo‐EM studies revealing mechanisms of ferritinophagy, cellular iron uptake, and ...

Mode entanglement of an electron in one-dimensional determined and random potentials
By using the measure of concurrence, mode entanglement of an electron moving in four kinds of one-dimensional determined and random potentials is studied numerically. The extended and local- ized states can be distinguished by mode entanglement.

Tau acetylation at K331 has limited impact on tau pathology in vivo
We mapped tau post‐translational modifications in humanized MAPT knock‐in mice and in amyloid‐bearing double knock‐in mice. Acetylation within the repeat domain, particularly around K331, showed modest increases under amyloid pathology. To test functional relevance, we generated MAPTK331Q knock‐in mice.

Invariance principles for linear processes with application to isotonic regression
In this paper, we prove maximal inequalities and study the functional central limit theorem for the partial sums of linear processes generated by dependent innovations. Due to the general weights, these processes can exhibit long-range dependence and the
