Quasi-hot spraying of coal-water slurries with pyrogenetic water additives

open access: yesИзвестия высших учебных заведений: Проблемы энергетики, 2022
The relevance of the work is explained by the absence of the results of the heating effect of multicomponent coal-water slurries on rheological properties and characteristics of spraying in the literature.PURPOSE.

Enhancing Low‐Temperature Performance of Sodium‐Ion Batteries via Anion‐Solvent Interactions

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
DOL is introduced into electrolytes as a co‐solvent, increasing slat solubility, ion conductivity, and the de‐solvent process, and forming an anion‐rich solvent shell due to its high interaction with anion. With the above virtues, the batteries using this electrolyte exhibit excellent cycling stability at low temperatures. Abstract Sodium‐ion batteries

Determination of Manganesum and Potassium in cement and gypsum samples by Slurry-FIAAS and alkaline fussion as analytical alternatives to the conventional procedure of leaching

open access: yesRevista Técnica de la Facultad de Ingeniería, 2010
In this work, a study of two procedures, by Slurry-FIA and alkaline fusion, for Manganese and Potassium determination in cement and gypsum commercial samples is Carried out using flame atomic absorption spectrometry (FAAS). The two procedures were tested

MnI‐Functionalized Covalent Organic Framework as Efficient Electrocatalyst for CO2 Reduction in a Catholyte‐Free Zero‐Gap Electrolyzer

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
This work demonstrates the successful integration of a phenanthroline‐based 2D COF with MnI catalytic sites into a catholyte‐free membrane‐electrode‐assembly cell for CO2 electroreduction. The crystalline COF actively suppresses Mn⁰–Mn⁰ dimerization, achieving a turnover frequency of 617 h⁻¹ at 2.8 V (full‐cell potential), and enabling stable operation.

Analysis of Rheological Models of Selected Cement Slurries [PDF]

open access: yesActa Montanistica Slovaca, 2004
Cement slurries become more and more widely applicable in reinforcing and strengthening the rock mass. The processes taking place in fresh cement slurries were presented and their complex character analysed. The equations describing rheological models, e.

Copper Doping Enhances the Activity and Selectivity of Atomically Precise Ag44 Nanoclusters for Photocatalytic CO2 Reduction

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
By a simple anti‐Galvanic reaction, up to six copper atoms could be preferably doped into the Ag2(SR)5 staple motifs and Ag20 dodecahedral shell of an atomically precise Ag44(SR)30 nanocluster. When anatase TiO2 is used as substrate, the (AgCu)44/TiO2 photocatalyst exhibited much improved activity in photocatalytic CO2 reduction compared to Ag44/TiO2 ...
