Seed Pelleting Technologies: Paving the Way for Resilient and Sustainable Future Farming

open access: yesFood and Energy Security, Volume 15, Issue 1, January/February 2026.
ABSTRACT Seed pelleting is an emerging precision‐agriculture technology that transforms small or irregular seeds into uniform units to enhance mechanical sowing, placement accuracy, and early crop establishment. Pelleting performance depends on the interplay among binder–filler composition, pellet structure, and post‐pelleting moisture conditions ...

Optimization of interfaces in ceramics with SiC addition engineering for thermal cycling implications

open access: yesJournal of the American Ceramic Society, Volume 109, Issue 1, January 2026.
Abstract This study investigated how SiC PSD influences solid–solid interface to enhance thermal–mechanical properties of ceramic composites. Initial SiCmp particles were milled for 3 h at 200 rpm (microns) and 600 rpm (submicrons) to tune the PSD, and their impact was evaluated in cordierite–mullite matrix, sintered at 1360°C.

Clay‐Mineral‐Coated Separators for Lithium‐Ion Batteries: Exploring the Relationships between Clay Mineral Morphology and Separator Performance

open access: yesAdvanced Science, Volume 12, Issue 40, October 27, 2025.
This review examines how coating Li‐ion battery separators with 1D, 2D, and 3D structured natural clay minerals influences their electrochemical and mechanical performance. It classifies 15 types of clay minerals and highlights structure–property correlations to offer practical design strategies for high‐performance separators in next‐generation energy
