The Semantic Web in an SMS

2016
Many ICT applications and services, including those from the Semantic Web, rely on the Web for the exchange of data. This includes expensive server and network infrastructures. Most rural areas of developing countries are not reached by the Web and its possibilities, while at the same time the ability to share knowledge has been identified as a key ...

Couplage CG-SM/SM

Techniques d'analyse, 2000

Localized Sm Ion Collapse in SmS As

1977
In this paper we will discuss the results of lattice constant, magnetization and transport measurements for small (1–5%) concentrations of As in SmS. We find evidence for a local collapse from Sm2+ to Sm3+ of the 6 Sm which are the nearest neighbors of each As.

A revision of the Sm-rich region of the Sm–Co system

Journal of Alloys and Compounds, 2010
Abstract The Sm-rich side of the Sm–Co system has been experimentally reinvestigated using the differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) method with slow rates of 1 °C/min and 0.5 °C/min as well as microscope and X-ray diffraction (XRD) analyses. Combining the experimental results from DSC, XRD and EPMA (Electron Probe MicroAnalysis) analyses, five ...

Goeben, SMS and Breslau, SMS

2019
The flight of the German battlecruiser Goeben and the light cruiser Breslau from the Adriatic Sea to the Dardanelles was one of the most spectacular and memorable naval operations during the initial phase of the war. The arrival of the ships contributed significantly to the Ottomans’ decision to join sides with the Central Powers.

RPIM-SM: extending PIM-SM for RP relocation

Computer Communications, 2002
The protocol independent multicast-sparse mode (PIM-SM) protocol establishes core-base tree to forward multicast datagrams in a network. In PIM-SM, the core or rendezvous point (RP) of a group is determined at each multicast router by hashing a group address, i.e. a class-D IP address, to one of the candidate RPs.

The mass and charge variances in Sm+Sm collisions

Journal of Physics G: Nuclear Physics, 1984
Charge variances for 154Sm+154Sm collisions are reproduced fairly well up to an energy loss of approximately 80 MeV in a Monte-Carlo simulation of the dynamical nucleon-exchange model in heavy-ion collisions. For 144Sm+144Sm good agreement with the experimental data on the charge variances is obtained up to the same energy loss once corrections due to ...

SMS Security for Smartphone

2013 Sixth International Conference on Developments in eSystems Engineering, 2013
The most popular and easiest communication technology in mobile phone devices is Short Message Service (SMS). This service is designed to transfer unsecured information. Some people want to exchange important data, so they need to secure it. In this paper, a solution is proposed that provides confidentiality and integrity for SMS data by applying a ...

Capture the fracture by SMS

Osteologie, 2016
SummaryIn this observational study a SMS reminder system was tested to improve patient adher- ence to osteoporosis drug therapy. 399 of 1323 osteoporosis fracture patients could be documented. 66 % of patients who received a SMS recommendation arranged an ap- pointment with their primary care physician.
