Energy Symmetry Breaking of Dirac and Weyl Fermions in Magnetized Spinning Conical Geometries

open access: yesAdvanced Theory and Simulations, EarlyView.
Exact solutions for relativistic fermions in magnetized, spinning conical geometries reveal defect‐induced symmetry breaking between fermion and antifermion energies. Energy levels depend on the magnetic field, background geometry, and fractionalized spin. When the defect's spin dominates, quantum effects diminish.

Near Room‐Temperature Ferromagnetic Phase Achieved in 4d Ruthenate via Interfacial Ferrimagnetic Coupling and Octahedral Rotation Engineering

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Transition metal oxides combining strong spin‐orbit coupling, near‐room‐temperature ferromagnetism, and high conductivity are rare. A Ca0.5Sr0.5RuO3 interfacial phase between LaMnO3 layers has all these features, high Tc, enhanced magnetization, and reduced coercivity.

Observation of Magnetic Pseudogap Behavior in Phosphorus‐Doped Silicon

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Phosphorus‐doped silicon presents a promising platform for quantum computing and hosts a Kondo condensate state featuring a pseudogap. Thermodynamic and magnetic resonance measurements reveal that this pseudogap behavior involves critical spin fluctuations, suggesting that overlapping Kondo clouds form a correlated coherent magnetic ground state ...

Deformation Behaviors in Single BCC‐Phase Refractory Multi‐Principal Element Alloys under Dynamic Conditions

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Exceptional mechanical stability of refractory multi‐principal element alloy (RMPEA) across various strain‐rates and temperature is studied through multiscale experiments coupled with theoretical calculations. This stability originates from competition between twinning and adiabatic heating during dynamic deformation, contributed from severe lattice ...

Impact of Controlled Magneto‐Structural Coupling in MnCoGe‐Based Compounds on the Design of Multifunctional Materials for Technological Advances

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
In this work, the authors systematically investigate how Ni substitution regulates the magneto‐structural coupling and their functional consequences in the MnCoGe‐based compounds. Geometric nonlinear theory analysis reveals that Ni modification change of magneto‐structural transition can alleviate the lattice incompatibility, thereby broadening the ...
