Quantitative Neutron Dark-Field Imaging of Milk: A Feasibility Study
Scattering studies of milk and milk products, which are highly relevant food products on the global market, are often utilized and reported in literature to investigate and understand the subtle microscopic structural differences between dairy samples ...

Using Rheo-Small-Angle Neutron Scattering to Understand How Functionalised Dipeptides Form Gels [PDF]
We explore the use of rheo-small-angle neutron scattering as a method to collect structural information from neutron scattering simultaneously with rheology to understand how low-molecular-weight hydrogels form and behave under shear.

A small angle neutron scattering and Mössbauer spectrometry study of magnetic structures in nanocrystalline Ni3Fe [PDF]
Results are reported from small angle neutron scattering and Mössbauer spectrometry measurements on nanocrystalline Ni3Fe. The nanocrystalline materials were prepared by mechanical attrition and studied in the as-milled state, after annealing at 265 °C ...

Microfluidic devices for small-angle neutron scattering [PDF]
A comparative examination is presented of materials and approaches for the fabrication of microfluidic devices for small-angle neutron scattering (SANS). Representative inorganic glasses, metals, and polymer materials and devices are evaluated under typical SANS configurations.

Neutron Small Angle Scattering of Hemoglobin
Abstract Neutron small angle scattering experiments were performed on human hemoglobin in various mixtures of H2O and D2O. It was possible to observe the interparticle effect without corrections for resolution and to verify the first minimum and the secondary maximum in accordance with the theoretical scattering curve.

On the heterogeneous character of water's amorphous polymorphism [PDF]
In this letter we report {\it in situ} small--angle neutron scattering results on the high--density (HDA) and low-density amorphous (LDA) ice structures and on intermediate structures as found during the temperature induced transformation of HDA into LDA.

Development of new small-angle neutron scattering geometry with ring-shaped collimated beam for compact neutron source [PDF]
Small-angle neutron scattering (SANS) is an important tool to investigate material properties in nanometer to micrometer scale. The opportunity to conduct SANS experiments is, however, limited because of the low number of available SANS beam lines ...
