The histone chaperones Vps75 and Nap1 form ring-like, tetrameric structures in solution [PDF]
NAP-1 fold histone chaperones play an important role in escorting histones to and from sites of nucleosome assembly and disassembly. The two NAP-1 fold histone chaperones in budding yeast, Vps75 and Nap1, have previously been crystalized in a ...

Vesicle Viewer: Online Analysis of Small Angle Scattering from Lipid Vesicles
In this project, we developed an internet-based application, called Vesicle Viewer, to visualize and analyze small angle scattering data generated in the study of lipid bilayers. Vesicle Viewer models SAS data using the EZ-SDP model.

Structure of poly(ionic liquid)s in solutions: a small angle scattering study
We investigate the phase behaviour and scattering properties of a polymerised ionic liquid (poly(1-butyl- 3-vinylimidazolium bis(trifluoromethanesulfonyl)imide)) in 24 solvents of varying dielectric constants and solubility parameters.

Neutron Small Angle Scattering of Hemoglobin
Abstract Neutron small angle scattering experiments were performed on human hemoglobin in various mixtures of H2O and D2O. It was possible to observe the interparticle effect without corrections for resolution and to verify the first minimum and the secondary maximum in accordance with the theoretical scattering curve.

Hfq binding changes the structure of Escherichia coli small noncoding RNAs OxyS and RprA, which are involved in the riboregulation of rpoS [PDF]
: OxyS and RprA are two small noncoding RNAs (sRNAs) that modulate the expression of rpoS, encoding an alternative sigma factor that activates transcription of multiple Escherichia coli stress-response genes.

In situ capabilities of Small Angle X-ray Scattering
Small Angle X-ray Scattering (SAXS) is an ideal characterization tool to explore nanoscale systems. In order to investigate nanostructural changes of materials under realistic sample environments, it is essential to equip SAXS with diverse in situ ...
