CA9‐Targeted PET Imaging for Noninvasive Discrimination of Clear Cell Renal Cell Carcinoma and Associated Tumor Biological Features

CA9‐targeted PET imaging could be a noninvasive approach to characterize clear cell renal cell carcinoma and associated tumor biology. PET uptake correlates with tumor CA9 expression and is linked to angiogenic activity, immune remodeling, and metabolic reprogramming.

Rewiring Pyroptosis to Potentiate Cancer Immunotherapy via a Gasdermin D Agonist Bypassing Caspase‐3

This work introduces a small‐molecule agonist, DIBDO, that bypasses Casp‐3 to directly trigger GSDMD‐mediated pyroptosis in tumors. Activated by glutathione, DIBDO generates singlet oxygen and molecular iodine, blocking Casp‐3 pathways and inducing immunogenic cell death.

Small-cell carcinoma of the rectum is a rare tumor. We treated a patient with small-cell carcinoma of the rectum with radiation and multidrug regimen being used for small-cell carcinoma of the lung. Within two months of chemotherapy, the primary lesion, as evaluated by rectoscopy, biopsy, and CT scan, had resolved completely.
