For research of nectar productivity of linden plantations the application of genetic studies using molecular genetic markers, in particular, genetic polymorphism of species as well as populations is promising.

Small-leaved linden is established as one of the most common tree species used for landscaping urban areas. In Rutto Park, at the time of accounting (2018), the average diameter of the lime trees was 19.4 cm, and the average height was 20.0 m.
