Small signal stability analysis of typical power system and its improvement using power system stabilizer

open access: yesTESEA, Transactions on Energy Systems and Engineering Applications
The modern power network is composed of a huge number of transmission lines and generators. The synchronous generator modelling and its stability analysis are crucial in a power system network.

Phase Angle as an Early Functional Biomarker of Cancer‐Related Fatigue in Pediatric Oncology: A Prospective Longitudinal Study

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background Pediatric cancer remains a leading cause of morbidity and mortality worldwide, particularly in low‐and middle‐income countries. Cancer treatment may impair nutritional status, alter body composition, and exacerbate cancer‐related fatigue (CRF).

Time to Diagnosis Among Children and Adolescents With Cancer in Québec, Canada: A Population‐Based Study

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background Timely cancer diagnosis in children and adolescents is important to improving outcomes. We aimed to quantify time to diagnosis and assess variations by patient, demographic and system‐level factors. Procedure We conducted a population‐based study of individuals aged 0–19 years diagnosed with one of 12 cancers from 2010 to 2022 in ...

Change in Mental Health and Resilience in Childhood Cancer Survivors After Attending a Person‐Centred State‐of‐the‐Art Late Effects Clinic—on Behalf of the PanCareFollowUp Consortium

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background Person‐centred follow‐up care based on evidence‐based clinical practice guidelines and providing individualised information should help to inform and reassure survivors about their medical and psychosocial situation and provide treatment and support where needed.

Impact of Japan's 2024 Physician Work‐Style Reform on Pediatric Hematology–Oncology: Educational Implications in a 2‐Year Survey

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background Japan's 2024 physician work‐style reform introduced legally binding limits on physicians’ working hours, but its impact on education and workforce sustainability in pediatric hematology–oncology (PHO) remains unclear. Procedure We conducted a repeated cross‐sectional study with structured quantitative items and free‐text responses ...

Mitigating the impacts of geomagnetic disturbances on the small signal stability

open access: yesInternational Journal of Electrical Power & Energy Systems
Geomagnetically induced currents (GICs) caused by geomagnetic disturbances (GMDs) flow through the transformers, which lead to the increase of reactive power loss (QGIC). As reactive loads added to the system, QGIC causes the change of power flow distribution, which connects GMDs with small signal stability.

Small-signal stability analysis of neutral delay differential equations [PDF]

open access: yesIECON 2017 - 43rd Annual Conference of the IEEE Industrial Electronics Society, 2017
This paper focuses on the small-signal stability analysis of systems modeled as Neutral Delay Differential Equations (NDDEs). These systems include delays in both the state variables and their first time derivatives. The proposed approach consists in descriptor model transformation that constructs an equivalent set of Delay Differential Algebraic ...

A Bibliometric Analysis of Publications in Uremic Toxins From 1991 to 2024

open access: yesTherapeutic Apheresis and Dialysis, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background Uremic toxins are a growing area of research in nephrology, with significant implications in the progression and treatment of chronic kidney disease (CKD) and the management of end‐stage kidney disease (ESKD). This bibliometric analysis aims to evaluate the global research trends, key contributors, and the impact of publications in ...

Research on a small-signal stability criterion for MMC controller

open access: yesZhejiang dianli
High voltage direct current (HVDC) transmission based on modular multilevel converter (MMC) is widely used in large-scale renewable energy delivery. However, the lagged inertia of MMC controllers may undermine the small-signal stability.

Small Signal Modeling and Stability Analysis of Modular Multilevel Converter Based on Harmonic State-Space Model

open access: yesEnergies, 2020
The stability of Modular multilevel converter (MMC) itself is the premise of analyzing the stability of MMC cascading with other cells, so this paper addressed the small-signal stability of MMC with dc voltage control mode which is the common operation ...
