Enhanced Photocatalytic Wastewater Purification and Bacterial Elimination via Copper Ion Irradiation‐Induced Modification of BiOCl

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study presents a copper ion irradiation method to achieve the modification function of BiOCl. By using high‐energy ion beams to introduce impurity ions inside the material, the intrinsic electric field of BiOCl is optimized, promoting the separation of photogenerated carriers and enhancing the photocatalytic activity.

Local Initiatives in favour of Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises [PDF]

open access: yes
Regional environment creates a set of factors that can be called either stimulants or barriers to the development of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). Local governments should remove barriers, transforming them into promoters.

Effect of Regiochemistry on Doping and Thermoelectric Properties of n‐Doped Fullerene Derivatives

open access: yesAdvanced Electronic Materials, EarlyView.
Three fullerene derivatives doubly substituted with diethylene glycol chains (PDEG‐2) is presented. The different regiochemistry significantly affects the crystallinity and consequently the dielectric properties, electronic transport, and doping efficiency. By striking a balance between compatibility with the molecular dopant N‐DMBI and crystallinity a

SMALL AND MEDIUM-SIZED ENTERPRISES IN DENMARK

open access: yesActa Universitatis Nicolai Copernici Zarządzanie, 2016
The Kingdom of Denmark is one of the most prosperous countries in the European Union. Denmark is leading the rankings on both the standard of living of the citizens, as well as the rankings of the best economies and most business-friendly countries. It is therefore a country that more attention should be devoted and we should draw experiences that can ...

Shedding Light on Common Misinterpretations in Photocatalyst Characterization

open access: yesAdvanced Energy Materials, EarlyView.
For heterogeneous semiconductor‐based photocatalysts, Marschall et al. highlight common misconceptions in material synthesis, characterization, and performance evaluation, together with detailed explanations on how to avoid them. The guidelines thus presented can help to improve reporting of photocatalyst performance in environmental applications, such

A Comparison of Experts' and Entrepreneurs' Opinions on International Business Activity

open access: yesTheory, Methodology, Practice, 2011
Small and medium-sized enterprises often need external help in the process of internationalisation. This is usually an explicit pressure arising from their size and not a shortcoming. The objective of the present study is to learn the opinion of experts

Beyond Silicon: Toward Sustainable, NIR‐II, and Conformable Organic Photodiodes

open access: yesAdvanced Energy Materials, EarlyView.
In this perspective, a strategic shift in organic photodetector (OPD) research is proposed: instead of the incremental advances in silicon's stronghold arena, the most impactful future for OPDs lies in addressing silicon's intrinsic limitations, i.e., detection in the longer wavelength range above silicon's coverage (>1100 nm, termed as near infrared ...
