We study the problem of drawing a dynamic graph, where each vertex appears in the graph at a certain time and remains in the graph for a fixed amount of time, called the window size.

Small polygons with large area
A polygon is \textit{small} if it has unit diameter. The maximal area of a small polygon with a fixed number of sides $n$ is not known when $n$ is even and $n\geq14$. We determine an improved lower bound for the maximal area of a small $n$-gon for this case.

Small Area Quantile Estimation [PDF]
SummarySample surveys are widely used to obtain information about totals, means, medians and other parameters of finite populations. In many applications, similar information is desired for subpopulations such as individuals in specific geographic areas and socio‐demographic groups. When the surveys are conducted at national or similarly high levels, a

Circumscribed Polygons of Small Area [PDF]
Let \(C_n(K)\) denote an \(n\)-gon of minimum area circumscribing a plane convex region \(K\). The paper deals with the problem of finding \(c_n:= \sup \mathrm{Area}(C_n(K))\) for a given \(n\geq 3\) when \(K\) ranges over all convex domains of unit area.

Robust small area prediction for counts [PDF]
A new semiparametric approach to model-based small area prediction for counts is proposed and used for estimating the average number of visits to physicians for Health Districts in Central Italy. The proposed small area predictor can be viewed as an outlier robust alternative to the more commonly used empirical plug-in predictor that is based on a ...

Anti-EpCAM functionalized graphene oxide vector for tumor targeted siRNA delivery and cancer therapy
Graphene oxide (GO) has emerged as a potential drug delivery vector. For siRNA delivery, GO should be modified to endow it with gene delivery ability and targeting effect. However, the cationic materials used previously usually had greater toxicity.

Small Area Shrinkage Estimation
The need for small area estimates is increasingly felt in both the public and private sectors in order to formulate their strategic plans. It is now widely recognized that direct small area survey estimates are highly unreliable owing to large standard errors and coefficients of variation.
