Study of breakup and transfer of weakly bound nucleus 6Li to explore the low energy reaction dynamics

open access: yesEPJ Web of Conferences, 2017
Investigation of the breakup and transfer effect of weakly bound nuclei on the fusion process has been an interesting research topic in the past several years.

Small Ball Probabilities for Simple Random Tensors

open access: yes
We study the small ball probability of an order-$\ell$ simple random tensor $X=X^{(1)}\otimes\cdots\otimes X^{(\ell)}$ where $X^{(i)}, 1\leq i\leq\ell$ are independent random vectors in $\mathbb{R}^n$ that are log-concave or have independent coordinates with bounded densities.

Transient Antiskyrmion‐Mediated Topological Transitions in Isotropic Magnets

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A transient antiskyrmion‐mediated pathway that drives repeated stripe‐to‐skyrmion transitions is revealed, producing a net increase in topological charge in isotropic Dzyaloshinskii–Moriya interaction films. Experiments and simulations identify the antiskyrmion as a metastable excitation, enabling stochastic bitstream generation for probabilistic ...

A Quantum Framework for Protein Binding‐Site Structure Prediction on Utility‐Level Quantum Processors

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study presents a hybrid quantum‐classical framework for accurate prediction of protein structures on utility‐level quantum processors. We evaluate the practical application of the Variational Quantum Eigen‐solver (VQE) in protein structure prediction and demonstrate its superiority over state‐of‐the‐art deep learning methods in molecular docking ...

IGF‐1 Deficiency Serves as an Integrated Biomarker Pathogenic Driver and Predictor in Poor Ovarian Response

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
IGF‐1 deficiency underlies poor ovarian response (POR), as reduced levels in follicular fluid and granulosa cells impair antral follicle formation and compromise reproductive outcomes. Including IGF‐1 as a biomarker significantly enhances the accuracy of models predicting both PORrisk and pregnancy success.

Small ball probabilities for the infinite-dimensional Ornstein–Uhlenbeck process in Sobolev spaces [PDF]

open access: yesStochastics and Partial Differential Equations: Analysis and Computations, 2016
While small ball, or lower tail, asymptotic for Gaussian measures generated by solutions of stochastic ordinary differential equations is relatively well understood, a lot less is known in the case of stochastic partial differential equations. The paper presents exact logarithmic asymptotics of the small ball probabilities in a scale of Sobolev spaces ...

In Situ X‐Ray Tomography and Acoustic Emission Monitoring of Damage Evolution in C/C‐SiC Composites Fabricated by Liquid Silicon Infiltration

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study investigates how the internal structure of fiber‐reinforced ceramic composites affects their resistance to damage. By combining 3D X‐ray imaging with acoustic emission monitoring during mechanical testing, it reveals how silicon distribution influences crack formation.

A Quest for the Mechanism of Ultrahigh Resolution SEM Imaging

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Using Monte Carlo simulations with explicit definitions of SE1 and SE2 align with a cascade secondary electron production model, this work shows that the 3D nanostructure modulated SE2 emission enhances other than to reduce topographical contrast via a “miniature Faraday cup” effect.

Influence of Pd-Layer Thickness on Bonding Reliability of Pd-Coated Cu Wire

open access: yesMicromachines
In this paper, three Pd-coated Cu (PCC) wires with different Pd-layer thicknesses were used to make bonding samples, and the influence of Pd-layer thickness on the reliability of bonded points before and after a high-temperature storage test was studied.
