[Small bowel capsule endoscopy].
Capsule endoscopy enables inspection of the gastrointestinal tract without discomfort or need for sedation and thus obviates the risks associated with traditional endoscopy. This review presents an update on small bowel capsule endoscopy since its introduction in 2001.
