Simple 7‐designs with small parameters
Journal of Combinatorial Designs, 1999The authors describe a computer search using their program package DISCRETA for the construction of simple designs with prescribed automorphism groups. Many simple 7-designs are obtained.

Simple 8-Designs with Small Parameters
Designs, Codes and Cryptography, 1998This is an important paper. The authors give explicit constructions for simple 8-\((31, 10, 93)\) and 8-\((31, 10, 100)\) designs. The designs are constructed with \(\text{PSL}(3, 5)\) as automorphism group, although it may not be the full automorphism group. The authors obtain 138 designs with \(\lambda= 93\) and 1658 designs with \(\lambda=100\). For

Small Parameter Methods: Basic Ideas
2014We introduce basic ideas of asymptotic analysis and present a number of models which describe complex processes, the components of which occur at significantly different rates. Such models in a natural way contain a small parameter which is the ratio of the slow and the fast rates, thus lending themselves to asymptotic analysis.

Small-signal parameters for transistors
Electrical Engineering, 1954The commonly used sets of parameters are discussed briefly and it is shown how the performance of the transistor can be determined with equal facility from any of the sets that may be provided.

Equivalent-Small-Parameters Method (ESPM)
2018The principle of harmonic balance [1] is a basic principle that is universally applicable in nonlinear systems. The singular perturbation method is a commonly used approximation method for analyzing nonlinear systems. However, the perturbation method has long-term items in the process of solving nonlinear systems, that is, items that grow indefinitely ...
