In this study, we engineered an antibacterial, antioxidative and epidermal grow factor‐encapsulated multifunctional hydrogel for the repair of chronic and refractory wounds. The hydrogel markedly promoted wound healing in rat models of diabetic foot ulcers and infected wounds by modulating wound microenvironment.

Ball‐milling promotes uniform POSS dispersion in the TPU matrix, markedly improving the mechanical performance of TPU‐POSS composites. ABSTRACT We synthesized TPU/POSS composites through a two‐step process involving the ball milling of POSS to reduce its particle size, followed by in situ polymerization of TPU to reinforce the material.

A biomimetic microfluidic tumor‐on‐chip platform was designed to uncover subtype‐dependent responses to nanoparticle‐mediated photothermal therapy in breast cancer spheroids. The platform establishes a physiologically relevant and controllable 3D system for precision evaluation of nanophotothermal cancer therapies.

Evidence That the Protein Phosphatase Activity of PTEN Contributes to Embryonic Development and Tumor Suppression

Mice expressing only mutant PTEN Y138L, a protein which shows normal suppression of cellular AKT yet lacks protein phosphatase activity, die in utero, and heterozygous mice display a range of tumors. This indicates both the lipid and protein phosphatase activities of PTEN work together for normal tumor suppression and embryonic development.
