Photo‐Switching Thermal and Lithium‐Ion Conductivity in Azobenzene Polymers
Light‐responsive azobenzene polymers control thermal and ionic transport simultaneously through structural transitions. UV illumination disrupts π–π stacking, converting crystalline trans states to amorphous cis configurations. Thermal conductivity drops from 0.45 to 0.15 W·m−1·K−1 while Li+ diffusivity increases 100 fold. This dual transport switching

Differential Space-Time Block Code Modulation for DS-CDMA Systems
A differential space-time block code (DSTBC) modulation scheme is used to improve the performance of DS-CDMA systems in fast time-dispersive fading channels. The resulting scheme is referred to as the differential space-time block code modulation for DS-

Antennas are essential and crucial components of radar and wireless communication systems, but sometimes their inability to adapt to new operating conditions can hamper system performance. These limitations can be mitigated or eliminated, and reconfigurable antennas can bring new levels of functionality to any system by enabling it to modify its ...

Wireless lans with smart antennas
ABSTRACT Smart antenna systems not only enable users to have high quality links but also increase network throughput by allowing spatial reuse of wireless channels by the use of directional transmission. However performance of smart antenna systems is limited because of the increased hidden terminal problem and deafness of nodes.

4D Printing of Self‐Immolative Polymers
The integration of self‐immolative polymers (SIPs) into light‐based 3D printed structures is presented as a new “living” 4D printing strategy. By exploiting their metastability and stimuli‐responsiveness, SIP‐containing printed objects can undergo rapid and triggered degrowth under ambient conditions and subsequent regrowth through polymer ...
