A Practical Attack on the MIFARE Classic [PDF]
The MIFARE Classic is the most widely used contactless smart card in the market. Its design and implementation details are kept secret by its manufacturer. This paper studies the architecture of the card and the communication protocol between card and reader.

Data‐driven energy sharing for multi‐microgrids with building prosumers: A hybrid learning approach
A hybrid learning approach is proposed in this study. XGBoost‐based demand response model of prosumers is first trained by supervised learning and then embedded into the MADRL environment. And an XGBoost‐embedded MADDPG algorithm is adopted to obtain the optimal scheduling strategy of MMGs with building prosumers through off‐line centralized training ...

An Improved Remote User Authentication Scheme Using Smart Cards [PDF]
In 2000, Hwang and Li proposed a new remote user authentication scheme using smart cards. In the same year, Chan and Cheng pointed out that Hwang and Li’s scheme is not secure against the masquerade attack. Further, in 2003, Shen, Lin and Hwang pointed out a different type of attack on Hwang and Li’s scheme and presented a modified scheme to remove its

Abstract Unbalanced loads and faults cause power quality problems in power grids, which may lead to system elements failure, particularly to synchronous generators. Faults detection and identification of the disturbance severity level are essential in the grids. Important equipment are often protected with dual protection systems.

Morphological engineering for high‐performance perovskite field‐effect transistors
Abstract The emergence of perovskite semiconductors for field‐effect transistor (FET) applications has received significant research attention due to their excellent electronic properties. The rapid development of perovskite FETs over the last few years has been driven by advances in understanding the thin‐film morphologies of perovskite layers and ...
