Determinants of Household Adaptation to Climate Vulnerability in Wetland Areas of Bangladesh: An Empirical Estimation

open access: yesClimate Resilience and Sustainability, Volume 5, Issue 1, June 2026.
The study evaluated the vulnerability and adaptation status of farming households in the climate‐sensitive wetland region of Bangladesh, using survey data from 120 households. The livelihood vulnerability index indicated moderate vulnerability (0.53), with key risks stemming from livelihood strategies, natural resource dependence and climatic ...

Climate Change Risks and Climate Adaptation in Agro‐Processing Enterprises

open access: yesClimate Resilience and Sustainability, Volume 5, Issue 1, June 2026.
Due to its profit‐driven focus, agro‐processing participation had no significant effect on climate change adaptation. Education emerged as a key driver, positively influencing participation and adaptation behaviours. The study recommends integrating climate strategies into training programs and prioritising education to enhance resilience.

A pilot study on anti‐reflux mucoplasty with valve as novel endoscopic therapy for gastroesophageal reflux disease

open access: yesDEN Open, Volume 6, Issue 1, April 2026.
Abstract Background and aims Endoscopic anti‐reflux therapies like anti‐reflux mucosectomy (ARMS) and anti‐reflux mucosal ablation have shown efficacy for gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) in systematic reviews and meta‐analyses. Anti‐reflux mucoplasty (ARM‐P), a refinement of ARMS, incorporates immediate closure of the resection site to reduce ...

Effect of temperature on growth and development of rice weevil [Sitophilus oryzae (L.) (Coleoptera: Curculionidae)] on polished rice

open access: yesAgrosystems, Geosciences &Environment, Volume 9, Issue 1, March 2026.
Abstract Rice weevils (Sitophilus oryzae), a major storage pest, cause both qualitative and quantitative losses of stored grains. Normally, chemical insecticide along with fumigation is practiced for the management, but it creates health hazards. So, this study investigates the effects of temperature and duration of exposure on rice weevils. Completely

Effect of fertilizer nitrogen on biomass yield and nitrous oxide gas emissions in peppermint in Nebraska

open access: yesAgrosystems, Geosciences &Environment, Volume 9, Issue 1, March 2026.
Abstract Peppermint (Mentha piperita) is a perennial herb valued for its menthol‐rich oil and requires high nitrogen (N) inputs for its irrigated production. Optimizing N management can reduce nitrous oxide (N2O) emissions, a potent greenhouse gas associated with fertilizer N input.

Genome‐wide association analyses reveal loci controlling 1000‐kernel weight, harvest index, biological yield, and grain yield in bread wheat

open access: yesAgrosystems, Geosciences &Environment, Volume 9, Issue 1, March 2026.
Abstract Understanding the genetic basis of grain yield and related traits in bread wheat under different water regimes is essential for improving moisture stress tolerance and water‐use efficiency. This study aimed to identify stable loci associated with these traits under rainfed conditions.
