Built-In Self-Test (BIST) Methods for MEMS: A Review
A novel taxonomy of built-in self-test (BIST) methods is presented for the testing of micro-electro-mechanical systems (MEMS). With MEMS testing representing 50% of the total costs of the end product, BIST solutions that are cost-effective, non-intrusive

Sensor Networks For Smart Roads [PDF]
This paper proposes the use of a wireless sensor network of "cat's eye" augmented with embedded processing, communication, and sensing capabilities to monitor vehicle behaviour on augmented roads. The primary goal of the system is to provide drivers with early warning of potentially dangerous situations that may arise.

Biophysical characterisation shows that NanX, a membrane transport protein from the major facilitator superfamily (MFS), forms both monomers and dimers after purification. AlphaFold modelling and substrate docking provide information on residues likely involved in substrate recognition for NanX and another MFS member, NanT.
