Dielectric‐Confinement‐Induced in‐Plane Photoelectric Anisotropy in Isotropic Quasi‐1D γ‐GaS Nanoribbon

We investigate the geometry‐governed optoelectronic anisotropy arising from dielectric confinement in quasi‐1D γ‐GaS nanoribbons with intrinsically isotropic atomic structures. Dielectric mismatch between the nanoribbon and its surroundings leads to a general polarization‐dependent photoresponse during near‐field scattering.

Oxygen Vacancy‐Enriched Platinum Single‐Atom Nanozyme Wrapped in Nanoislands: Unlocking Catalytic Activity and Reprogramming Redox Microenvironment for Osteonecrosis Repair

CeO2‐x/Pt single‐atom nano‐island is constructed via low‐temperature reduction, featuring abundant oxygen vacancies and an island–sea structure. It delivers outstanding multi‐enzyme‐mimetic activity and ROS‐scavenging efficiency. Density functional theory reveals optimized electronic structures and reaction pathways.

Effects of Smeared Layer on Luting Strength of Dental Cements.

Effects of smeared layer on the bond strength between dentin and dental cements were evaluated. Four surface conditions (No treatment, K-etchant, Dentin conditioner and EDTA) were prepared on the ground dentin of bovine frontal teeth. A copper tube was fixed and filled with a dental cement (zinc-phosphate cement or glass-polyalkenoate cement).
