From models to SMEFT and back? [PDF]
We present a global analysis of the Higgs and electroweak sector, in the SMEFT framework and matched to a UV-completion. As the UV-model we use the triplet extension of the electroweak gauge sector. The matching is performed at one loop, employing functional methods. In the SFitter analysis, we pay particular attention to theory uncertainties

smelli – the SMEFT Likelihood [PDF]
I present the Python package smelli that implements a global likelihood function in the space of dimension-six Wilson coefficients in the Standard Model Effective Field Theory (SMEFT). The likelihood includes contributions from a large number of flavor and other precision observables, currently 399 in total.

Two‐to‐Two Processes at an Electron‐Muon Collider
Based on a recent proposal to build an electron‐muon collider, we study two‐to‐two production processes e−μ+⟶ff¯, γγ that originate from dimension 6 and 8 operators. We compare the sensitivity to those effective couplings obtained at the collider with that of low energy measurements of μ⟶eγ, μ⟶ee¯e, and μ⟶e conversion that have recently been reported ...

Abstract We use the Fitmaker tool to incorporate the recent CDF measurement of mW in a global fit to electroweak, Higgs, and diboson data in the Standard Model Effective Field Theory (SMEFT) including dimension-6 operators at linear order. We find that including any one of the SMEFT operators $$ \mathcal{O} $$ O

Towards the ultimate differential SMEFT analysis [PDF]
Abstract We obtain SMEFT bounds using an approach that utilises the complete multi-dimensional differential information of a process. This approach is based on the fact that at a given EFT order, the full angular distribution in the most important electroweak processes can be expressed as a sum of a fixed number of basis functions.

On the Impact of the LHC Run 2 Data on General Composite Higgs Scenarios
We study the impact of Run 2 LHC data on general composite Higgs scenarios, where nonlinear effects, mixing with additional scalars, and new fermionic degrees of freedom could simultaneously contribute to the modification of Higgs properties. We obtain new experimental limits on the scale of compositeness, the mixing with singlets and doublets with the

Renormalization Group evolution from on-shell SMEFT [PDF]
Abstract We describe the on-shell method to derive the Renormalization Group (RG) evolution of Wilson coefficients of high dimensional operators at one loop, which is a necessary part in the on-shell construction of the Standard Model Effective Field Theory (SMEFT), and exceptionally efficient based on the amplitude basis in hand ...

Abstract We study the flavor structure of the lepton and baryon number-conserving dimension-6 operators in the Standard Model effective field theory (SMEFT). Building on the work of [1], we define several well-motivated flavor symmetries and symmetry-breaking patterns that serve as competing hypotheses about the ultraviolet (UV ...

Non-standard interactions in SMEFT confronted with terrestrial neutrino experiments
The Standard Model Effective Field Theory (SMEFT) provides a systematic and model-independent framework to study neutrino non-standard interactions (NSIs).

Leptoquarks meet $\varepsilon'/\varepsilon$ and rare Kaon processes [PDF]
We analyse for the first time the CP violating ratio $\varepsilon'/\varepsilon$ in $K\to \pi\pi$ decays in leptoquark (LQ) models. Assuming a mass gap to the electroweak (EW) scale, the main mechanism for LQs to contribute to $\varepsilon'/\varepsilon ...
