1‐(Acetylamino)thioxanthones and Derivatives: Synthesis From 1‐Halogenothioxanthones and Biological Properties

The conversion of 1‐halogenothioxanthones into 1‐(acetylamino) derivatives and their NaH‐mediated cyclization have been optimized.
