Mechanism of Zinc Corrosion in Accelerated Corrosion Tests
Materials and Corrosion, Volume 76, Issue 8, Page 1106-1119, August 2025.Real‐time corrosion rate of zinc was measured using electrical resistance sensors. Chloride deposition is the most corrosive phase of the test. Chloride concentration and deposition method affect corrosion throughout the test. Corrosion is accelerated by prolonged wet/dry transitions.
