A consistent description of kinetics and hydrodynamics of systems of interacting particles by means of the nonequilibrium statistical operator method [PDF]

open access: yes, 1998
A statistical approach to a self-consistent description of kinetic and hydrodynamic processes in systems of interacting particles is formulated on the basis of the nonequilibrium statistical operator method by D.N.Zubarev.

Smooth Particle Hydrodynamics Simulation of Micro-Cup-Extrusion Using a Graphit-ic Coating

open access: yesAdvances in Materials Science and Engineering, 2014
Microextrusion is becoming increasingly important for the manufacturing of microcomponents. However, this reduction in scale to a microlevel means that the influence of friction and the need for suitable lubrication are greatly increased.

Kernel broken smooth particle hydrodynamics method for crack propagation simulation applied in layered rock cells and tunnels

open access: yesUnderground Space, 2023
Understanding the cracking process of layered tunnels requires a high-fidelity method. Improved smooth particle hydrodynamics (SPH), termed kernel broken SPH (KBSPH), was implemented to simulate the crack propagation and deformation of layered rock cells

Hybrid smoothed particle hydrodynamics [PDF]

open access: yesProceedings of the 2011 ACM SIGGRAPH/Eurographics Symposium on Computer Animation, 2011
We present a new algorithm for enforcing incompressibility for Smoothed Particle Hydrodynamics (SPH) by preserving uniform density across the domain. We propose a hybrid method that uses a Poisson solve on a coarse grid to enforce a divergence free velocity field, followed by a local density correction of the particles.

Smooth Particle Hydrodynamics (SPH) Simulation and its Applications in Aerospace [PDF]

open access: yesفناوری در مهندسی هوافضا, 2017
Smoothed particle hydrodynamics (SPH) is a relatively new particle and meshfree numerical method which is highly noticed during the last few decades. In comparison to conventional grid-based computational fluid dynamics (CFD) methods, smoothed particle ...

Numerical Study of Rectangular Tank with Sloshing Fluid and Simulation of the Model Using a Machine Learning Method

open access: yesGeofluids, 2022
This paper presents a fluid sloshing model using the artificial neural network method (ANN). Determining the fluid sloshing model in the tank is a challenging task due to its nonlinearity and complexity of behavior to its environmental and operational ...

SPATIO-TEMPORAL PROCESS SIMULATION OF DAM-BREAK FLOOD BASED ON SPH [PDF]

open access: yesThe International Archives of the Photogrammetry, Remote Sensing and Spatial Information Sciences, 2018
On the basis of introducing the SPH (Smooth Particle Hydrodynamics) simulation method, the key research problems were given solutions in this paper, which ere the spatial scale and temporal scale adapting to the GIS(Geographical Information System ...

Conservation Laws in Smooth Particle Hydrodynamics: the DEVA Code

open access: yes, 2003
We describe DEVA, a multistep AP3M-like-SPH code particularly designed to study galaxy formation and evolution in connection with the global cosmological model.
