Abstract ’Slender White’ beans were planted using a Planet Jr. in 24-ft rows on 38-inch centers on July 1, 1976, at Central Crops Research Station, Clayton, North Carolina. Eight single-row plots were arranged in a randomized complete block design with four replications.
