Multifrequency radio observations of a SNR in the LMC: The case of SNR J0527-6549 (DEM l204)

open access: yesSerbian Astronomical Journal, 2010
We present a detailed study and results of new Australia Telescope Compact Array (ATCA) observations of supernova remnant SNR J0527-6549. This Large Magellanic Cloud (LMC) object follows a typical supernova remnant (SNR) horseshoe morphology with a diameter of D=(66?58)?1 pc which is among the largest SNRs in the LMC.

Multimodal Haptic Perception Through Synergistic Nanocomposite Sensor Arrays

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Technologies, EarlyView.
Multi‐modal fingertip haptics are advanced through a bioinspired &vertical‐via' electronic skin architecture. A confined PDMS/MWCNT/NiNP nanocomposite, sitting at the percolation threshold, enables tactile, thermal, and magnetic sensing. A unique via‐density gradient and dedicated &Un‐Touch' reference nodes provide robust spatial resolution and signal ...

SNR of 3 detected gamma rhythms.

open access: yes, 2021
A–C show the distributions of the SNR for 3 GCs in the recording sites that had a good model fit (goodness of fit > 0.8). D shows the distributions of the SNR for MUA. GC, gamma component; MUA, multiunit activity; SNR, signal-to-noise ratio. (EPS)

A Compact Incubation Platform for Long‐Term Cultivation of Biological Samples for Nitrogen‐Vacancy Center Widefield Microscopy

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Technologies, EarlyView.
A compact incubation platform enables long‐term cultivation of biological samples directly on diamond quantum sensors for NV widefield magnetometry. The 3D‐printed biocompatible chamber provides a temperature controlled, CO2${\rm CO}_2$ and humidity rich environment while accommodating total internal reflection excitation geometry.

Low‐Temperature Processed Optoelectronic Synapses With Enhanced Responsivity for Edge‐Oriented In‐Sensor Reservoir Computing

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Technologies, EarlyView.
Image pixels are converted into optical pulse sequences to stimulate the optoelectronic synaptic device, generating dynamic responses that form high‐dimensional features. These features improve classification efficiency and demonstrate strong potential for neuromorphic edge computing systems.

Robust Line Segment Detection Based on Non-isotropy in Low-SNR Image

open access: yes, 2012
Line segment detection in low-SNR infrared image has difficulty as the gradient field ca1culation is badly affected by noise. In this paper, a new approach is presented to distinguish line elements or non-line ones in an image according to the fact that ...

Decoupling the Impact of Deep‐Trap and Band‐Tail States on PbS Quantum Dot Photodetectors via Alkylamine Engineering

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Technologies, EarlyView.
Band‐tail and deep trap states are effectively disentangled through the use of selective alkylamine additives. PA‐driven 2D ordering narrows band tails, while HA enhances halide passivation and Pb coordination to suppress deep traps. A comparative study of their CQD short‐wave infrared (SWIR) photodetectors further reveals whether band‐tail states or ...
