Improving the quality of low SNR images using high SNR images
It is important to get data with Signal-Noise-Ratios (SNR) as high as possible. Compared to other techniques, filtering methods are fast. But they do not make full use of the characteristics of sample structure which reflected by relevant high SNR images. In this study, we propose a technique termed “TransFiltering”.

The southern supernova remnant (SNR)W28 was observed in 1994 and 1995 by the CANGAROO 3.8m telescope in a search formulti-TeV gamma ray emission, using the Cerenkov imaging technique. We obtained upper limits for a variety of point-like and extended features within a +-1 degree-region and briefly discuss these results, together with that of EGRET ...

Ionic conjugated polyelectrolyte electron‐blocking layers enable photomultiplication organic photodetectors with dark current robustness up to −10 V and external quantum efficiencies exceeding 3000%. Fowler–Nordheim tunneling, interfacial dipole, trap density of states, and noise analyses reveal how ionic conjugated polyelectrolytes suppress electron ...

Mixed‐cation lead mixed‐halide perovskites suffer from structural instabilities linked to nanoscale heterogeneity. To probe this non‐destructively, a low‐dose, concurrent 4D‐STEM and EDX methodology has been developed. Examining a (FA0.83Cs0.17)Pb(I0.8Br0.2)3 film revealed a complex mosaic of coexisting crystal structures. Crucially, local deficiencies
