Pharmacokinetic interactions between Echinacea and two antiviral drugs, favipiravir and atazanavir, were assessed in rats. The findings suggest that Echinacea does not significantly affect the pharmacokinetics of favipiravir and atazanavir. These results provide preliminary evidence that concurrent use of Echinacea with these antiviral drugs may be ...

PERFECTA Loaded Lipid Cubosomes for 19F‐MRI: Physico‐Chemical Characterization
Phytantriol‐based cubosomes loaded with PERFCTA, a fluorinated MRI probe, were developed as promising systems for imaging and drug delivery. The nanoparticles showed high PERFECTA encapsulation efficiency, strong fluorine MRI signals, and optimal colloidal stability in biological media.

Spatially resolved 23Na magnetic resonance dispersion measurement in porous media
Quantitative 23Na MRI was employed to analyze dispersion in realistic core plug samples and was compared with the conventional breakthrough curve. 23Na MRI provided a more effective aassessment of core plug heterogeneity than the conventional method. Abstract Tracer tests are widely used in the petroleum industry to assess reservoir core plugs, relying

Stochastic Gradient Descent in High Dimensions for Multi‐Spiked Tensor PCA
ABSTRACT We study the high‐dimensional dynamics of online stochastic gradient descent (SGD) for the multi‐spiked tensor model. This multi‐index model arises from the tensor principal component analysis (PCA) problem with multiple spikes, where the goal is to estimate the unknown signal vectors within the N$N$‐dimensional unit sphere through maximum ...

SNR Estimation in Generalized Fading Channels and its Application to Turbo Decoding
—In this paper, we propose an online SNR estimation scheme for generalized fading channels. We derive the SNR estimate based on a statistical ratio of observables over a block of data, when the channel undergoes Nakagami fading.

Dynamics of Heparin Translocations Through Solid‐State Nanopores
Carbohydrates can be detected with solid‐state nanopores, but their kinetics of voltage‐driven passage are fast. To better understand the dynamics of passage of these biomolecules and the role of electrophoresis and electroosmosis, we studied the translocation characteristics of heparin as a function of salt concentration, pH and voltage polarity ...

Transactions Papers Joint Synchronization and SNR Estimation for Turbo Codes in AWGN Channels
—Turbo codes are sensitive to both (timing) synchronization errors and signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) mismatch. Since turbo codes are intended to work in environments with very low SNR, conventional synchronization methods often fail.
