Abstract Unsustainable hunting practices can alter population dynamics, driving biodiversity declines, which leads to ‘empty forests’. Understanding hunting behaviour, including motivations for hunting and relationships with market drivers, and access to hunting grounds are important to develop affirmative policies to stem biodiversity loss.

Surface Engineering of Ti3C2Tx MXenes via Silanol Functionalization for Improved Electrochemical Performance

This study explores the covalent functionalization of Ti3C2Tx using 5,5′‐bis(triisopropoxysilyl)‐2,2′‐bipyridine in different solvents, revealing that only m‐xylene enables effective covalent bonding, ensuring structural stability and preventing layer swelling.

Genome skimming yields the complete mitogenome of Chromodoris annae (Mollusca: Chromodorididae)

In this study, the complete mitogenome sequence of sea slug, Chromodoris annae (Mollusca: Chromodorididae), has been decoded for the first time by genome skimming method. The overall base composition of C. annae mitogenome is 30.6% for A, 14.5% for C, 17.
