"Marginal pinching" in soap films
We discuss the behaviour of a thin soap film facing a frame element: the pressure in the Plateau border around the frame is lower than the film pressure, and the film thins out over a certain distance lambda(t), due to the formation of a well-localized ...

GIXRD Study of PM6: Y12 Films for Stretchable OPV Applications
ABSTRACT Recent advancements in organic photovoltaics (OPVs) have focused on improving both efficiency and mechanical robustness, yet critical insights into the structural and mechanical properties of the materials remain underexplored, particularly in the context of intrinsically stretchable OPVs.

A modified mean curvature flow in Euclidean space and soap bubbles in symmetric spaces [PDF]
In this paper, we show that small spherical soap bubbles in irreducible simply connected symmetric spaces of rank greater than one are constructed from the limits of a certain kind of modified mean curvature flows starting from small spheres in the Euclidean space of dimension equal to the rank of the symmetric space, where we note that the small ...

Hydrodynamic Doppler effect in flowing soap films [PDF]
It is known for many years that the vorticity and the thickness fields in soap films are coupled and that the thickness wave propagates at the Marangoni wave speed. Based on the two observations, we propose a hypothesis that the vorticity field propagates at the Marangoni wave speed in flowing soap film channels.

We report a versatile disulfide‐containing linkage to solid support that enables on‐column synthesis of DNA and RNA containing a 3′‐amino or 3′‐phosphate group. This orthogonal solid‐support linker enables a protecting group strategy for the synthesis of oligonucleotides containing 3′‐amino‐2′,3′‐dideoxyribosides directly from commercially available ...

Necrosulfonamide causes oxidation of PCM1 and impairs ciliogenesis and autophagy
Summary: Centriolar satellites are high-order assemblies, scaffolded by the protein PCM1, that gravitate as particles around the centrosome and play pivotal roles in fundamental cellular processes notably ciliogenesis and autophagy.

ABSTRACT Challenges in daily living skills (DLS) are well‐documented in autism and other developmental conditions. Research has also cataloged challenges in adult outcome attainment among autistic individuals and those with other developmental conditions; stronger DLS are associated with a higher likelihood of attaining some adult outcomes. Little work
