Area density and regularity for soap film-like surfaces spanning graphs [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv, 2004
For a given boundary set consisting of arcs and vertices, with two or more arcs meeting at each vertex, we treat the problem of estimating the area density of a soap film-like surface spanning the boundary.

The Value Chain of Sustainable Dual Carbon Sodium Ion Capacitors

open access: yesBatteries &Supercaps, EarlyView.
Sodium‐ion capacitors (SICs) bridge the energy‐power gap between batteries and supercapacitors, offering sustainable and scalable energy storage solutions. This review provides a 360‐degree perspective on SIC technology, covering material choices, presodiation strategies, manufacturing challenges, applications and life cycle assessment to ensure ...

Sustainable biofuel production from fish processing waste: lipase‐catalyzed hydroesterification of tilapia residual oil

open access: yesBiofuels, Bioproducts and Biorefining, EarlyView.
Abstract Fishing waste and byproducts, whether naturally occurring or from industrial processing, are important sources of high‐value compounds. Fertilizers, biomaterials, cosmetics, biolubricants, and biodiesel are some of the substances that can be obtained from these residues. The objective of this study was to conduct a theoretical and experimental

Steiner trees and spanning trees in six-pin soap films [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv, 2008
We have studied the Steiner tree problem using six-pin soap films in detail. We extend the existing method of experimental realisation of Steiner trees in $n$-terminal problem through soap films to observe new non-minimal Steiner trees. We also produced spanning tree configurations for the first time by our method.
