Social-psychological dilemmas and coping of atomic veterans.
American Journal of Orthopsychiatry, 1994Memories and perceptions of exposure to radiation were explored in open-ended interviews with 16 atomic veterans. Findings suggest that resolution of these events involves emotional and cognitive processing of a new perspective that is in contradiction with prior beliefs.
